To discover what people would want to see on a music magazine, I created a survey to help get an idea of what i would need to add in order to make it successful.

What is your gender?
I chose this question to find out which sex I should market it to and which preferred to buy music magazines
The following is the results of my Survey and how I will use it to influence my magazine.
What Genre of Music do you like to listen to?
This was done to find out what style of music magazine is the most popular and will therefore be style of my magazine?
Number of Images on the cover?
This is to access how much information readers want on the cover regarding the topics within the magazine.
What topics would you want to read about?
This information will help me will the double page spread as it will tell me what readers would want to see in a interview from the artist the magazine is speaking to.
Around 30 people answered my survey, these are the results:
From the results of the survey, I have decided the following:
- Since the genders were fairly close I will try to keep the magazine gender neutral.
-The type of Music that got the majority was classical.
-There will be no more than two images on the cover.
- While I plan to cover all of the topics in the interview, the main focus shall be on the artist's career and there relationships and family life will only play a minor part.
